The purpose of the dialogue game is to create a space for reflection and learning, and space where management, as well as employees, can discuss the countless norms, presumptions, values, opinions, myths and stories, that characterise work life of today – or what we sometimes call “safety culture”.
By physically sitting around a board game, participants are urged to get involved and want to express themselves more. Positive dynamics are experienced – we have great discussions and maybe even a laugh. No one is above the others, because of the equal involvement that goes into making the game work. The participants’ curiosity for their fellow players is heightened, which results in a sympathetic approach to other perspectives than their own.
